My story starts the same as everybody else’s, I’m very very overweight. It started young and in my adolescence I had to work out 7 days per week just to maintain a good weight.
This was my life pre surgery which was 30/07/16. I was topping the scales at 30 stones. I lived on my bed, totally reliant on everyone for food, bathing and toileting. I only left the house for hospital appointments. My doctors appointments were done over the phone. I honestly thought I was going to die on my bed. I'm now currently 15 stones. I've just re applied for my old job as a bus driver yesterday.
I’m a Bariatric Surgery Patient. I had a mini Gastric Bypass performed back in July 2016 and can honestly say – It’s the best thing I could have done for my health since I gave up smoking back in 2000!
My name is Martyn Ince, I am a patient under the care of Mr Siba Senapati at The Alexandra Hospital Cheadle. Here is a short testimonial with regard to Mr Senapati and his team.
My name is Andy Clegg, I am a 47 year old married man and have had a history of obesity ranging back to my very early teens. I have tried what seems every way possible of loosing weight ever since leaving school at a weight of over 16 Stone.
