I am so much happier within myself, I have more energy and am more confident in the clothes I wear and in my body in general.
I had gastric sleeve surgery on 12th April 2023 with Professor Senapati. I am currently just over 9 months post op and have so far lost 4stone 10 pounds. My starting weight was 16 stone 8 pounds and I currently weigh 11 stone 12 pounds. I am so much happier within myself, I have more energy and am more confident in the clothes I wear and in my body in general.
The quality of care I have received under Professor Senapti and his team has been exceptional.
I had the gastric sleeve on the 17th October 2023 and have currently lost 56lbs/25.4kg. I am finding it much easier to move about, I don’t get out of breath as easily and have found it’s been great for my mental health also after struggling with my weight my whole life to see it come off is amazing.
I cannot recommend him highly enough and I am extremely grateful for the successful outcome.
My orthopaedic consultant told me I would be in a wheelchair in five years as a result of arthritis and obesity; knee surgery was ruled out as a result of a 72 BMI. Despite reservations, my family persuaded me to persue bariatric surgery.

I had a Gastric Sleeve 10 months ago, I have currently lost 6 stone 11 pounds. My quality of live is so much better than before surgery. I have so much more confidence and I’m a lot happier. I’m a lot healthier and hope to be able to have children in the future which before the surgery I wasn’t sure if I would have been able to conceive due to poly cystic ovaries and being obese.

I had the gastric sleeve in December 2021. I have lost 8 stone so far. I have managed to reverse my diabetes when I was taking 120 units of insulin before surgery. My quality of life is so much more now.
